Duties Include:

- Maintain and repair a variety of systems in our production facility
- Fabricate new projects to meet unique needs
- Repair equipment used throughout all departments
- Complete necessary tasks effectively and efficiently
- Journeyman welder (will consider qualified 2nd or 3rd year apprentice)
- Familiar with a variety of equipment and able to recognize when something is not operating as it should
- Experience cutting, fitting and fabricating pieces on an as needed basis
- Confident decision maker and problem solver
- Quick and responsive to changes in work environment
- Team player – willing to do what ever it takes to get the job done
- Mechanical Background considered an asset
- Exciting and fast paced work environment
- 4 day work week in winter, scheduled rotation in the summer

Heavy Duty Mechanic

We are manufacturers of premium hay products that are well revered in the industry. No day in our shop is ever the same, and we want you to work with our team, to help maintain and repair our unique fleet.

- Complete necessary tasks effectively and efficiently
- Journeyman on/off road technician (will consider qualified 3rd or 4th year apprentice)
- Familiar with a variety of equipment and able to recognize when something is not operating as it should
- Experience working with and operating heavy equipment
- Confident decision maker
- Quick and responsive to changes in work environment
- Team player – willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Class 1 licence considered an asset

Bulk Sales and Nutrition Specialist

Come work with a dynamic team at Legal Alfalfa Products where you will help facilitate the distribution of nutritious hay products throughout western Canada. We are producers of premium hay products that are well revered in the industry.
Opportunity for remote work.
We are seeking an individual to join our team as our Bulk Sales and Nutrition Specialist
Duties Include:
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of strategic direct to customer bulk sales with a focus on ruminants and equines.
- Provide on farm feed solutions and diet formulation to bulk customers. Identifying their needs and advising how our products will enhance their program.
- Identify opportunities and proactively acquire new customers via on-site visits and targeted phone outreach.
- Build strong partnerships with customers while driving sales.
- Attend trade shows, host field days, and participate in industry specific showcases.
- Collaborate with office staff and shipping personnel to coordinate the shipment of commissioned orders.
- Complete necessary tasks effectively and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- MSc in Equine and Ruminant Nutrition considered significant asset.
- Minimum 5 years experience in livestock feed sales.
- Minimum 5 years experience formulating diets for equines and ruminants.
- Willing to travel, work on the road, and introduce oneself to potential new customers.
- Driven by results. Proven track record of success.
